It is submitted that the hospital has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for 35 beds.
The Hospital has submitted Rs. 12,500/- vide UTR No. 712617446 dated 24/06/2024, Rs. 12,000/- vide UTR No. 90779323 dated 24/06/2024, Rs. 12000/- vide Ch. No. 000069 dated 04/07/2024 & Rs. 14000/- vide Ch. No. 000070 dated 04/07/2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 500/- Form Downloading Fee which is adequate upto 30/09/2029.
The HCF has submitted requisite documents along with the application which can be pursued. The HCF has submitted the sewer bill regarding discharging its effluent into MC Sewer after treatment through ETP. The HCF comprises of 35 beds and has capacity to generate effluent @ 10 KLD, for which the HCF has installed ETP of capacity 10 KLD to treat its effluent and has submitted feasibility report of the same.
The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 01/07/2024 and observed as under:
1. The hospital comprising of 35 beds engaged in the process of providing medical services.
2. The hospital has installed treatment plant for treatment of its effluent generated from hospital premises.
3. The hospital has installed ETP cum STP for treatment of its effluent generated from hospital premises which was under stabilization and treated effluent is being discharged into MC Sewer.
4. The HCF has provided color coded bins for collection/segregation of Bio Medical Waste, segregation of BMW found proper as per color codes.
5. The HCF has provided needle destroyers for shredding of needles.
6. The hospital has installed a D.G. Set of capacity 40 KVA, which is provided with canopy.
The hospital is having bed capacity of 35 nos. and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer.
In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a period upto 30/09/2029 subject to suitable conditions along with special condition the HCF shall analysed its treated effluent samples within 02 months from the Board Lab. |
