Clarification Note: To Environmental Engineer Punjab Pollution Control Board Regional Office-II, Jalandhar. Sub: Reply of the clarification raised by your office Respected Sir, The point-wise reply of the observations raised is as under: 1. Our project has been approved under the Punjab Affordable Housing Policy, 2023 notified dated 22.03.2023 and as per the said policy the max. allowable population density has been given as 400 PPA (Persons per Acre) thereunder. Accordingly, we are submitting the revised water balance in light of the same density for the project as under: REVISED WATER BALANCE AS PER NORMS: Component Estimated Population as per Norms Quantity of Water Required per day Say Residential Plots (143 Plots) Taking density as 400 PPA: 1616* 135 ltr/ in 19569.70 sqyd 4.04 * 400 = 1616 person = 2,18,160ltr 218 KLD or 4.04 Acres area Say 1616 persons Flushing Requirement 1616 persons 1616* 45ltr/ person 72.72 KLD = 72.72 KLD Total Water Demand = 218 KLD Waste Water Generation (@ 80%) = 174.4 KLD Flushing Water Requirement = 72.72 KLD Excess Wastewater for Disposal =101.68 KLD 1. Furthermore, we shall install STP of capacity 150KLD based on MBBR technology for treatment of the wastewater generated. 2. We are attaching land agreement for 2.5 out of which we shall develop plantation area (as per kanal Technology) in 1.5 Acres for the disposal of the treated excess wastewater @ 101.68KLD. 3. We have already deposited the extra NOC fee for red category by NEFT No. AXSK241850008334 Dated. 03.07.2024 of Rs.20,400.also changed the category orange to red.
