Further, as per policy dated 30.04.2013 of the Board, the competency to decide various applications related to hotels is as per below:
• 5 Star and above - Chairman
• 4 Star- Member Secretary
• Upto 3 Star- Chief Environmental Engineer
• Without Star hotels, restaurant, inns, motels, banquet halls, marriage palaces etc.- Senior Environmental Engineer
However, the no star status has been given by the Regional Office to justify the competency to decide the application........................................
Further, vide note dated made by the undersigned on 03.07.2024, it was highlighted that the hotel has applied under the wrong category as it is required to apply under the Orange category.......................................
In light of this it is recommended to return the application, please. |
