The industry has applied for varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 7970 Kgs/day, Or Dyeing and Finishing of PC Cotton Fabrics @ 3190 Kgs/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 203.8 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.45 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD alongwith one FBC boiler of 03 TPH & one DG set of 250 KVA capacity with request to restore the electricity supply of the industry........................
No comments have been made by the RO w.r.t. suitability of site as per the provisions of Master Plan of Ludhiana for continuing its operations / expansion proposed at the site.....................
