APCD-Induction furnaces (02 Nos.)
1. Canopy hood with elliptical cut for containment of dust emissions from induction furnace having capacity as 300 Kg/heat suitable for manual charging.
2. Side Suction Hood of adequate size for containment of dust emission from 2nd induction furnace having capacity as 2 TPH as it does not interfere during charging of raw material with magnet & pusher.
3. The industry has proposed to Install separate Air Pollution Control Devices (APCD) with each induction furnace in all form of Pulsejet Bag filter with spark arrestor, flue gas temperature control system.
It is intimated that the industry has already an induction furnace having capacity as 300 Kg/heat installed wet scrubber as APCD and now proposed canopy hood with elliptical cut for containment of dust emissions from induction furnace having capacity 300 Kg/heat suitable for manual charging.
The industry has proposed an induction furnace of capacity 1.5 Ton/heat and taking design for 2.0 TPH from PSCST with side suction hood of adequate size for containment of dust emission from induction furnace as it does not interfere during charging of raw material with magnet & pusher. This induction furnace is a very small unit, so there is no need to install secondary emissions controls. |
