It is submitted that notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 to be issued to the industry alongwith the opportunity of personal hearing before the CEE (P) has already been approved and notice is being issued shortly.
As such, at this stage, the CTOs applications cannot be considered and RO may be asked to return the application to the industry with intimation that the action against the industry under the provisions of the Environmental Laws is under process with the Competent Authority. |
