Sir, the point wise reply is as under: -
1. The industry is not engaged in the manufactured the saila rice.
2. The industry has not installed any machinery relates to manufacturing of saila rice in its premises.
3. The written assurance has been obtained from the industry for not to manufacture the saila rice without obtaining prior permission from the Board.
4. Sir, due to non-availability of laboratory staff, the sampling could not be carried out and same will be done in upcoming paddy season. During visit, the stack emission was found clear.
5. The industry has adopted various measures to dispose off boiler ash in environmentally sound manner as prescribed in SoP for such units.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sorted raw rice with dryer @ 2.0 TPH and Steamed rice @ 2.0 TPH by using Paddy @6.0 TPH may be granted upto 30.09.2029, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
