File Note: The Dhaba/Banquet hall has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate for operation of for operation of Dhaba for Food Serving @ 100 Persons under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS along with requisite documents. The details of the case as under: • The unit has submitted year wise CA certificate, stating value of fixed assets of Rs. 95.48 lakhs (including plant & machinery of Rs. 26.97 lakhs) as on 31.03.2024. • The unit has deposited consent fee of Rs. 95,200/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 517238618 dated 30.05.2024 & UTR / Ref. No. 130038788 dated 21.06.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 89,600/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 309412654 dated 30.05.2024 & UTR / Ref. No. 506316252 dated 21.06.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2029 after adjusting penalty, NOC regularization fee and balance fee as per Board's order dated 29.10.2018. • The unit has submitted Change of Land Use issued by Department of Town & Country Planning vide memo no. 5522 dated 26.12.2016 for land measuring 3 Kanal 2 Marla as well as submitted revenue record as registry of land to the name of proprietor Sh. Shashi Chopra. • The palace has submitted undertaking that they will use hall for siting arrangement for food serving and will not use the hall for any type of functions (marriage etc.). The unit was already visited by undersigned (AEE) on 13.06.2024 and it was observed that: • The Dhaba was in operation. • The Dhaba has provided Oil & grease trap followed by septic tank for treatment of waste water generated. • The unit has developed plantation in lawn area as well as along the boundary wall for disposal of treated water. The plantation area developed by the unit is adequate to handle the treated waste water. • The unit has constructed 2 no. compost pits for the in-situ management of wet waste generated after the function. • The unit has installed suction hood in the kitchen section. • The unit has provided 02 no. DG set of capacity 200 KVA & 80 KVA with canopy & stack of adequate height The Dhaba is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and the guidelines issued by the Board vide order no. (HQ-2)/2021/64 dated 02.02.2021. Keeping in the view of above, It is therefore recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit for operation of Dhaba for Food Serving @ 100 Persons for a period upto 30.09.2029, subject to suitable terms & conditions and specific as under: 1. This consent to operate is granted for Dhaba i.e Food serving only. 2. The unit will not use its hall for any type marriage functions & other functions and will use the hall for dhaba i.e food serving only. 3. The unit will always comply with guidelines issued by the Board vide no. HQ-2/2021/64 dated 02.02.2021. 4. The unit will ensure that in-situ management of wet waste generated for the premises. 5. The unit shall make ensure to utilize treated water for plantation purpose. 6. The unit will comply with the provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 and subsequent amendments, if any.
