As discussed, it is submitted that the latest stack emission sample was collected by the officer of the Board 01.09.2023 from the porthole of the common stack attached to the APCD connected with the boiler of capacity 03 TPH and thermopack of capacity 1000 U. During visit, the industry was using pet coke as fuel. The analysis report has been received from Zonal Laboratory, Ludhiana vide letter endst no. 692-94 dated 14.09.2023 and as per analysis results concentration of SPM is found to be 232 mg/Nm3 against 500 mg/Nm3 and SO2 is found to be 374 mg/Nm3 against 400 mg/Nm3 which is within the permissible limits. Moreover, the industry is now complying with the guidelines No. (HQ-1)/Pet Coke/F-200/2010/478 dated 20.07.2010 for usage of pet coke as fuel.
