The industry has proposed to provide VOC adsorption media with the vents of the condensers and the thermofluidic heater will be provided with wet scrubber as APCD.
Further, the industry will provide ETP for treatment of washing/CIP effluent generated from the industry and the treated effluent will be discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has agreed to comply with the standard operating procedure as prescribed by CPCB in Feb, 2021 for such type of units i.e. utilization of spent solvent for recovery of solvent.
The proposal of the industry is in line with the said SOPs and a special condition has also been imposed in this regard.
Submitted for approval of action already recommended please.
