As desired by the Competent Authority, the effluent sample the HCF was collected by the undersigned on 28.06.2024. As per the analysis report, the parameters of the effluent are within the permissible limits as prescribed by the Board for Health Care Facilities i.e. pH-7.5, TSS-BDL, COD-30 mg/l, BOD-6 mg/l, O&G-BDL & Bio-Assay-100% survival of fish in 100% of effluent after 96 hrs (copy attached).
The HCF is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and also complying with Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016.
In view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed for a period upto 31.03.2027 with suitable conditions, please.
