As per note of Environmental Engineer Regional Office Sangrur, Earlier applications of the poultry farm for obtaining CTO under Water Act,1974 & Air Act,1981 were refused and directions were issued by Competent Authority of the Board for closure of the unit as the poultry farm failed to fulfill applicable siting criteria for establishment. Considering said directions issued by the Board. Now the poultry farm has resubmitted the application for obtaining fresh CTE after complying with the siting guidelines.
In view of recommendations of Regional Office may if approved Regional Office be allowed to grant the NOC for the establishment of a new broiler farm of capacity 8,000 Number/day at VPO Karamgarh, Tehsil and District Barnala under the green category.
Date of receipt of application- 01.07.24 Date of visit- 29.05.24 15 working days have been allocated by the Board for deciding the application.
