It is submitted that as per RO report:
1. The industry has installed ETP based on biological treatment........................
2. Sample of the trade effluent was collected from outlet of the ETP on 19.06.2024. As per analysis report, the concentration of the various parameters are within the prescribed limit of MoEF&CC. However, the parameters are not found confirming with the stringent standards prescribed for large scale dyeing units...............................
3. The industry has not submitted bank guarantee of Rs. 50 Lac as an assurance that the upgraded ETP based on ZLD technology will be installed and commissioned by 30.06.2024.......................
4. The industry has neither submitted any progress report nor work regarding the installation and commissioning of ZLD plant as per special condition of CTO granted to the industry....................
5. No progress has been made by the industry with regard to up-gradation of ETP based on ZLD technology and it has also not submitted 10 Lacs and a bank guarantee of Rs. 50 Lac, within 07 days as an assurance that the upgraded ETP based on ZLD technology.........................
6. The industry was given deadline to upgrade its ETP to ZLD upto 30.06.2024, but no progress has been achieved by the industry till date....................
The industry has granted consent under the Water Act, 1974 which is valid upto 30.06.2024............
As proposed by RO, may, if approved, notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 alongwith show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (regarding non conversion to ZLD) be issued against the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing before Chairman of the Board, please. |
