In view of the recommendations of EERO Rupnagar, consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed upto 31.03.2025 for manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients @ 737.25 MT/year subject to the conditions already imposed in the original consent letter and additional conditions as under: -
1. The industry shall ensure proper and efficient treatment of effluent as well as emissions generated from the various processes.
2. The industry shall ensure that the effluent as well as floor washings/leakages shall not enter into storm drain under any circumstances.
3. The industry shall not operate incinerator and it shall be dismantled and removed from the site within six months positively.
4. The industry shall ensure inclusion of hazardous waste covered under the category 5.2 & 21.1 in the authorization granted to it under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
