It is intimated that the industry applied for obtaining fresh ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Tractor Parts (Job Work) @ 500 No./day by using M.S Sheet (Pieces) @ 500 No./day along with requisite documents.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 75483/- vide UTR no. SBIN124183356548 dated 01/07/2024 and Rs. 50,400/- vide UTR no. P150240325421398 dated 29.05.2024 under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution), 1974 and Rs. 75483/- vide UTR no. SBIN124183346146 dated 01/07/2024 & Rs. 42,500/- vide UTR no. P150240325428611 dated 29.05.2024 under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution), 1981 against the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 2.63 Cr. The consent fee under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 are adequate till 31/03/2037.
It is hereby clarified that earlier the said unit was a part of M/s Metlonics Industries Pvt. Ltd and operated at first floor. The industry has obtained Water and Air consents of the Board as a part of M/s Metlonics Industries Pvt. Ltd. Now, the both the units are separated and has applied for fresh consents of the Board under the Water & Air acts.
The project proponent has submitted lease deed made on 99 years lease hold between PSIEC and M/s KK Corporation.
The project proponent has submitted manufacturing process as under;
Raw material Welding Assembly Packing Dispatch.
The project proponent has submitted GST certificate as proof of proprietorship.
The project proponent has submitted approved building plan signed by the competent person approved under Factory Act, 1948.
The site of the project was visited by AEE of this office on 19.06.2024. During visit, it was observed that:
1. The industry was engaged in manufacturing of tractor parts on job basis.
2. The industry has installed welding machine, binding machine, cutting machine and packing machine.
3. No boiler furnace/ bhatti and wastewater has been generated from the premises.
4. The project site is a green category unit and is situated in industrial area of phase 7, SAS Nagar.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31/12/2036 with suitable and additional conditions as under:
1. The industry will stick to the production capacity mentioned in this consent and will not increase the same without prior written permission of the Board.
2. The industry shall not discharge wastewater in illegal manner at any time.
3. The industry shall not start any other new process within its unit which may change its category from Green to Orange/ Red, without the prior written permission of the Board.
4. The industry shall obtain permission from other concern departments, if need be.
