It is submitted that the point wise reply of the observations is as under:
1. RO is to clarify the disposal arrangements of the solid waste through authorized means.
Reply: The kitchen waste generation is approx. (50-100kgs), which is being picked by Asroop Singh (Pig Farm) R/o Village Gaggon, P.O Chamkaur Sahib, Ropar on daily basis and the agreement is attached herewith.
Further, the proponent is disposing dry waste to scrap dealers.
2. RO is to clarify adequacy of the green/ plantation area for disposal of treated domestic wastewater. Also, whether, the establishment has adequate arrangements for disposal of entire wastewater.
Reply: Total waste water generation of the unit is 43 KLD, out of which treated water @ 17 KLD is disposed off onto land for plantation developed over green area of 0.75 Acres. The same is sufficient for 17 KLD.
3. Whether the establishment has provided water meter at the outlet of STP and reading at the time of visit and average daily discharge.
Reply: It is submitted that the at the time of visit, the water meter was not working and the representative was advised to replace the same and maintain the record of outlet of STP regularly.
The project proponent has assured to provide the water meter within this week.
