Sir, the industry was given personal hearing before Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board wherein it was decided that:- 1. The industry shall regularly lifted the trade effluent to CETP operator regularly and maintain the record of water consumption and lifting. 2. The Environmental Engineer, Regional Office shall verify submissions made by the industry and submit recommendations.
In compliance to above, the industry was visited by RO on 10.07.2024 and it was reported that :- 1. The industry is maintaining the record of trade effluent to CETP operator and of water consumption and lifting. The record was found to be in order. 2. The industry has already submit approved building plans. 3. The industry has been commissioned after obtaining NOC and as such the industry has already enclosed latest proof of commissioning of the unit. 4. The industry is complying with the conditions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
RO recommended that CTO under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted for five year as earlier proposed in agenda note.
In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions, please. (Category - Red, Small) (Competency -SEE)
