The industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle vide no. CTE/Fresh/MOG/2023/23137026 dt. 15.08.2023 under green category, for establishment of cold store for storage of Vegetable & Fruits @ 5170 MTD, in the revenue estate of village Kothe Rohi Lopon , Barnala Road, Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh obtaining consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 under Green category for operation of cold store for same capacity and has submitted C.A certificate showing value of gross fixed assets of the industry as Rs. 637.20 Lakhs as on 31.03.2024 and copy of building plan approved by Director of Factories, Punjab, compliance report of NOC conditions. The industry has deposited Rs. 90,000/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 108488052 dt. 05.07.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 90,000/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 361181092 dt. 05.07.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.03.2032 under Green category.
The industry (cold store) was visited by undersigned (AEE) on 13.07.2024 and it was observed that:
1. The industry has completed the construction of cold store building and has installed the entire machinery.
2. The industry has not installed any boiler furnace within its premises; hence no fuel was used there.
3. The industry has constructed septic tank for treatment of its domestic effluent with provision to discharge the same onto land for plantation.
4. The industry has planted trees/sapling of trees along its boundary wall and tree plantation is adequate.
5. The industry has complied with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
Keeping in view of the above, may if approved, consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the cold store under Green category for a period upto 31.12.2031 subject to the suitable conditions please.
