The Report / recommendations by RO be perused.
Earlier, the industry was the industry was found manufacturing of plastic carry bags. As such, directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were issued for disconnect the electricity connection of the industry and Environmental Compensation of Rs. 2.0 lacs was imposed. The industry has deposited entire Environmental Compensation in parts.
Thereafter, the industry made compliance and gave undertaking not to manufacture plastic carry bag. Therefore, electricity connection of the industry was restored temporarily for 6 months period and consent to operate were also granted upto 05.06.2024.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal & the industry complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981.. No manufacturing of carry bags was found inside the industry.
May if approved,
1. Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for six months.
2. Directions be issued to industry for restoration of electricity connection of the industry temporarily for further six months
