It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the establishment of restaurant at Chak Gujran, Jalandhar Road Hoshiarpur.
The project proponent has submitted project report, feasibility report of STP, land proof, declaration of authorizaed signatory, distance certificate from Revenue of Department vide bearing No. 1327/R.K. dated 04.07.2024, inprinciple approval from Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur vide memo no. 558 dated 11.03.2024.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 8900/- vide UTR No. 121046904 dated 11.07.2024. The fee deposited by the project proponet is adequate for one year.
The site was visited by officers of this office on 15.07.2024 and observed that the site was located at Hoshiarpur-Jalandhar Road. The demarcation done at site. The left side of the site is Sleek value Station and Right side of building. The backside of the site is agricultural land. During visit it was observed that the electric wire crossing over the proposed site. During visit it was observed that the 30% of the project is completed and remaining work is undergoing. The project proponent has proposed to install STP of capacity 10 KLD for the treatment of domestic generated from its premises. The domestic effluent will be discharged onto land for plantation. The project proponent has proposed to installed one no. DG Set of capacity 150 KVA with canopy.
In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to establish under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be grnated for the establishment of a restaurant with suitable terms and conditions and with special conditions that :
1) The project proponent shall not operate its restaurant without prior permission of the Board.
2) The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission from the concnerned Department, if required.
3) The project proponent shall comply with the Revenue of Department vide letter bearing No. 1327/R.K. dated 04.07.2024 and inprinciple approval from Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur.
