Kindly peruse the detailed note of AEE.
It is worth to inform here that in compliance to hearing decision no. 2, this office has re-calculated Environment Compensation for Rs. 6,31,250/- and sent through e-noting no. 24162705 dated 04.7.2024 for approval and getting it approved from committee.
It is therefore recommended that:
A. Action recommended by this office u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 regarding issuing directions for closure of the unit be dropped.
B. This stone crusher be granted Consent to operate under the provisions of the Water
(Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution)
Act, 1981 for shorter period i.e. upto 31.12.2024 subject to additional conditions mentioned in the note of AEE.
