Kindly peruse the agenda note of AEE. In view of the facts mentioned in the agenda note of AEE, it is recommended that the fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/06/2029 (upto adequacy of consent fee) for the manufacturing of Tile Adhesive @ 200 MTD with suitable conditions and following special conditions:
1. The industry shall install water meter over the supply of fresh water and shall submit the record of daily withdrawal/ consumption at Regional Office, Fatehgarh Sahib on monthly basis.
2. The industry shall comply with the guidelines of Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA).
3. The industry shall obtain NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its product or raw material or enhances its production capacity in future.
4. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent and shall not start wet process in its premises without prior written permission of the Board.
5. The industry will operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently.
6. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities.
7. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.
8. The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
