It is submitted that industry has installed 2 hammers at site. The vibration arrangements cannot be commented as it is out of purview of the Department. The industry has provided acoustic sheets for control of noise and has agreed to provide all the necessary arrangements if required in future. The noise levels of the industry are slightly above the prescribed limits of 75 dB. As such, it is recommended that the hammers of the industry may be de-sealed temporarily for 3 months period for monitoring of noise and to check the adequacy of noise control measures provided by the industry. |
