Sir,
As reported by AEE above, it reported that the industry has provided acoustic sheets on one side (Wall), which seems that the industry has not made adequate measures to control the vibrations to be produced from the operation of the hammers, till date and status of the site is same as per earlier reported by officers of this office.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that:-
1. Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2029 (expect operation of hammers) with usual condition as per policy of the Board subject to suitable conditions.
2. Decision regarding de-sealing of the hammers may only be taken after the concrete measures adopted by the industry at site and shall submit adequacy certificate from the reputed institute in this regard, please. |
