RO has reported that the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for process of PRINTED CLOTH @ 5000 Meter/day using CLOTH @ 5000 Meter/day, CHEMICALS @ 35.5 Kgs/day. Detail of the case are as under: - 1. The industry has submitted brief Project Report and has proposed to install 01 nos. padding machines, 1 No. ager, 1 No winch, 1 no. calendaring, 02 no. digital textile printer, 1 No. decca dyeing machine. 2. The industry has proposed to install one no. baby boiler of capacity 0.9 TPH and one no. thermopac of capacity 40,00,000 Kcal/Hour for which the industry has proposed to consume wood/agro waste as fuel. Multi cyclone and wet scrubber has proposed to install as APCD with the boiler and thermopac. 3. The industry has proposed to install ETP @ 15 KLD with following components of the ETP: - Bar Screen –Equalization Tank - Flocculation Tank – Tube settler - Filter-1 – UMRF-1, Biological Treatment Unit – Primary Sludge Sump – Sludge sump and filer press system - Outlet. 4. The industry has submitted site plan and has showed plantation area of approx. 0.25 acre land reserved for plantation. 5. As per project report total cost of project is Rs. 431.38 Lakhs and the cost of Plant & Machinery is Rs. 365.20 Lakhs. Accordingly, it has deposited Rs. 14900/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) via Receipt No. 734001370 dated 23/05/2024 as NOC fee, adequate upto one year. 6. The industry has submitted report issued from DTP; Amritsar vide letter no. 588 dated 26.06.2024 in which it has mentioned that the existing proposed site of the industry fall under industrial land use zone as per Master Plan of Amritsar (2010-31) and said activity is allow. 7. The industry has submitted land document i.e. registry of the land, feasibility reports of proposed ETP and thermopac & boiler. The unit was visited by AEE of this office on 15/07/2024 and observed as under: 1. The proposed site is located at Majitha Road, Amritsar in a lane opposite to M/s Kwality Pharmaceuticals. 2. The industry has constructed shed and the site and also an old building is exist at the site. 3. As per site plan submitted the industry it has reserved approx. 0.25 acres land for plantation backside of its premises which is sufficient to discharge proposed trade effluent of the industry i.e. 09 KLD.
RO has recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with suitable terms & conditions. Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the industry shall not installed any machinery for dyeing or additional washing machinery except one no. winch machine without prior permission of the Board.
