File Note: It is intimated that earlier the consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference no. CTE/Fresh/PKT/2023/22228559 dtd 13/06/2023, which was valid upto 12/06/2024 which was further extended upto 23/05/2025 under orange category. Now the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS mode under orange category. The industry has deposited Rs. 44,100/- vide UTR No. 827380964 dated 21/07/2024 & Rs. 44,600/- vide UTR No. 415143279 dated 21/07/2024 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 1,17,50,000/- as on 15/07/2024 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2029 under both Acts. The industry was visited by officer of this office on 19/07/2024 and compliance of code of practice was observed as under:- 1. The industry is a stone crusher the industry has installed the machinery for crushing of stone and is almost ready to be commissioned. 2. The stone crusher has provided chutes to the end of the conveyor belts. 3. The stone crusher has provided recirculation system for recirculation the washing effluent into the process. 4. The unit has provided wind breaking wall along the boundary, covered the conveyors etc as per Environmental Guidelines prescribed by the CPCB. 5. The stone crusher has provided water sprinklers along the movement area and ramp. 6. The stone crusher has stabilized the approach road with river bed material within the premises and on the ramp. 7. The stone crusher has provided green belt along the boundary, however, same needs to be properly maintained for its proper growth. The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith). In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2029 with suitable along with special conditions :- 1. The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter. 2. The stone crusher shall comply with the new Environmental Guidelines issued by the CPCB for the stone crushing unit.
