As per RO report, the project site was physically observed that the project is fulfilling the siting criteria as per notification no. 3/6/07/STE(4)2274 dated 25.07.2008 issued by Government of Punjab, Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Non-Conventional Energy. The distance of the proposed site from the various approved operational industries / units (for which specific siting guidelines has been issued by the Board for time to time), is more than the required distance as per the siting criteria as there is no Maximum Hazard (MAH) industry at radial distance of 250 meters from the site of the boundary of the project. There is no air polluting industries, rice shellers, brick kiln and stone crushers at distance of 100 meters from the boundary of the project. The project proponent has proposed adequate plantation area.
Submitted for approval as recommended above vide e- note dated 22.07.2024.
