| Clarification Note: |
The application of the industry has scrutinized and it is observed as under:-
1. The project proponent has been issued directions u/s 33- A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide Board letter no. 4209 dated 02.07.2024 regarding the project proponent shall stop the construction activities at the site with immediate effect and stop forthwith discharging any effluent/ wastewater into sewer/ inland surface water/ onto land or through any other mode. Please, submit compliance of the same.
2. Please submit the compliances done by the GLADA, DRO and PSPCL authorities' w.r.t. project, in-light of directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 issued to these authorities by the Board.
3. As per the project report submitted by the project proponent, the project proponent has proposed to install STP of capacity 650 KLD but project proponent is required to submit technical details such as drawing of component of STP, technology on which it is based, design standards.
4. The project proponent has proposed to install mechanical composter for composting 900 Kg/day of bio-degradable waste, but as per CTO application almost 50% of the project has been developed and occupied, what arrangement has been done for its present occupancy?
5. Please submit permission obtained from Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for abstraction of ground water for meeting the total water requirements of the project.
