It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the manufacturing of Formaldeyde @ 200 MTD from Methanol @ 96 MTD and DM Water @ 108 MTD at Plot no. 12-13-14-15-16-18-19-20-21-22-23, Industrial Focal Point, Mini Growth Centre, Tanda, Distt. Hoshiarpur.
The project proponent has submitted copy of registry, Allotment letter from PSEIC, project report, authorized letter, site plan / location plan,Environmental Clearnace vide from MoEF vide EC Identification NO. EC23B021PB124053 dated 02.08.2023, Feasibility report ETP-cum- STP and APCD of Boiler.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 14900/- vide no. N023242845743477 dated 23.01.2024. The fee deposited by the project proponent for one year.
The site was visited by officer of this office on 24.07.2024 and observed that the site is located in Industry Focal Point (mini growth centre, Tanda. During visit, the construction work of boundary wall is undergoing. There is no residential colony within 200 m to 250 m from the proposed site. The industry has proposed to install ETP-cum – STP of 10 KLD for the treatment of the wastewater generated from its premises and will be discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has proposed to install 01 no. Boiler of capacity 1 TPH along with wetscruhher as APCD and HSD used as fuel. The industry proposed to install 01 No. DG Set of capacity @ 250 KVA with canopy.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for one year with suitable terms and conditions and with special conditions that :
1) The project proponent shall comply with the conditions of Environmental Clearance granted to it.
2) The project proponenrt shall not operate its unit without consent to operate of the Board.
3) The project proponent shall obtain permission for water extraction from concerned departmet.
4) The project proponent shall comply with the pollution control laws.
5) The projhect proponent shall obtain necessary permission before consent to operate from the concerned Department, if any.
