Sir, it is intimated that the industry was visited by the AEE (OS) on 18/07/2024 and during visit, the industry was not in operation. Further, the industry has installed the entire machinery as well as extruder machine. However, the industry has not installed APCD on the extruder to control the emissions generated from the extruder section as proposed during the time of obtaining NOC.
The representative was contacted again telephonically and directed to install the APCD on the extruder machine. It has also directed to not to commission the unit without obtaining consent to operate, failing which, action deemed fit under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be initiated against the unit.
As such, the application cannot be processed at this stage and if approved, the application may be returned, please. |
