RO has reported that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of hot mix plant which were granted to the industry vide online reference no. CTOW/Renewal/GRP/2021/15302806 dated 27/04/2021 Valid upto 30/09/2025 & CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2022/18030084 dated 08/03/2022 Valid upto 30/09/2025. Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 due to the Hot Mix Plant has installed new batch mix plant in its premises through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF. The industry has also submitted a bill for installed new machinery. The industry has deposited Rs. 27300/- vide online reference No. 21319414 dated 20/07/2024 under Water Act, 1974 including Rs. 2900/- as NOC regularization fee & Rs. 24900/- vide online reference No. 971744049 dated 20/07/2024 under Air Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as application fee same are adequate for the period upto 30/09/2029 under both Acts. The industry was visited on 22/07/2024 and observed as under:- 1. The hot mix plant was not in operation during visit. 2. The hot mix plant has provided multicyclone followed by wet scrubber as APCD. 3. The industry has installed one no. D.G set of capacity 365 KVA, which is provided with canopy. 4. The hot mix plant is complying with the code of practice framed for hot mix plants.
RO has recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30/09/2029 with suitable conditions along with the special condition that the industry shall get its emission sample analyzed from the Board’s Lab/Board’s approved Lab within one month and submit analysis report to the Board.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30/09/2029 with suitable conditions along with the special condition that the industry shall get its emission sample analyzed from the Board’s Lab/Board’s approved Lab within one month from issuance of the consent.
