Regional Office reported that M/s Gurudev International, Phase-7, Focal Point, Ludhiana has submitted a BG bearing no. 0506523BG0000214 dated 14.08.2023 of amounting Rs. to 50,000/-, which has been expired on 13.02.2024. The said unit has now closed its operations permanently…………………….
To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 24.07.2024 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in wire drawing process.
2. The industry is using both H2So4 and HCL for pickling.
3. The industry has made an agreement with CETP operator for lifting of spent HCL @ 5000 Ltr/month.
4. The industry has also made MOU @ 5000 Ltr/month with M/s SKFIAC, Village Dhrour, Sahnewal, Ludhiana for lifting of spent H2So4.
5. The representative of the industry informed that they are yet using HCL only for pickling process. They have not yet started H2So4 pickling.
6. The industry has installed 02 water meter in the process area and readings of the same noted as 11.03 KL and 0.21 KL during the visit. The industry is maintaining the record of daily water consumption viz-a-viz effluent lifted. During visit, Water auditing of the industry was carried out, as per which the industry has consumed (11.03 – 3.83) = 7.2 KL of fresh water in the process area from 01.06.2023. Around 24 KL of spent acid has got been lifted in the said period. Further, the industry has used around 6.5 KL of HCL spent has got been lifted in the process in the said period. As per water auditing fresh water consumed in the process is almost similar to the effluent got lifted to the CETP operator.
7. The effluent is being lifted directly from the pickling tanks. 5. The industry has submitted copy of CLU issued by Senior Town Planner vide no. 1060 dated 17.02.2012 for industrial purpose.
8. The industry has submitted approved building plan from the Competent person of Director of Factories.
9. The industry has submitted copy of rent deed as proof of date of commissioning as per which as per industry commissioned on 01.04.2024.
As such, the industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974………………..
As proposed by Regional Office, may, if approved:
1. Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 be granted to the industry 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions.
2. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-4 be requested to get the extended Bank Guarantee from the concerned industry and process separate e-note.
