1. The industry has submitted share DEMAT certificate issued by Company Secretaries and as per this certificate, 415 shares of the industry have been done DEMAT.
2. As per detail regarding machinery submitted by the industry, it has installed 07 soft flow machines (05 machines of capacity 300 Kg, 01 machine of capacity 500 Kg and 01 machine of capacity 600 Kg). These 07 machines have 17 mouths and as per GNE calculations, estimated discharge of the industry is 17 x 20 = 340 KLD. Thus, effluent generation is within the share allotment to the industry.
3. The industry has submitted permission obtained by it from PDA regarding discharge of 415 KLD effluent into its conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.
Keeping the above in view, it is therefore recommended that Varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for period upto 31.12.2024 for production of Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 12.750 T/day and Dyeing and Finishing of Cotton/Polyester-Cotton (PC) @5.1 T/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 415 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD with discharge of trade effluent @ 414.5 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD subject to the condition that:- (i) The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP. (ii) The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing. (iii) The industry shall maintain the record of flow meter installed at outlet leading to CETP. (iv) The industry shall not generate/discharge trade & domestic effluent more than 415 KLD and shall discharge its trade & domestic effluent only into the conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD through single outlet. (v) The industry shall not install any new dyeing/ water polluting machinery without permission of the Board.
