Sir, the point wise reply is as under:
1. There is no MAH industry falls within the 250 mtr of the proposed site. However, there is one no. Industry namely M/s Sangrur Co-operative Milk Plant (Verka), Sangrur located at a distance of 210 mtr from the nearest boundary of proposed site, which is not covered under MAH.
2. The plantation area proposed by the industry is adequate to handle treated effluent after treatment through STP.
3. The competency has rechecked and the competency to decide this case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-II, Patiala.
Keeping in view of CLU sanction letter, Local Govt. Punjab, Tehsildar report and observations found during visit by the undersigned, the site is suitable for commercial activity/project proposed. In view of the above, it is therefore, recommended that the project proponent may be granted consent to establish (NOC) for establishment for Building Construction Project, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board with special condition that proponent shall obtain all statuary clearances from other departments. |
