• The application has been examined and found that the project proponent has proposed discharge of domestic effluent @ 36 KLD after treatment in STP, onto land for plantation in an area of 08 kanal 4.5 marlas which has been taken on lease for 10 years. The visting officer has reported that the land area of 8 kanal 4.5 marlas is adjoining to the site with kucha pahi in between, however as per the approved site plan attached with the application issued by the STP, Bathinda, the kutchi pahi mentioned by the visiting officer has been shown as Road of 16 ft. 6 inch wide, which is proposed for road widening @ 60 ft……………
• In view of above, if approved, show cause notice before refusal of 'consent to establish' (NOC) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be issued to the hotel-cum-restaurant to submit written reply in the matter, within 10 days. |
