As discussed.
It is submitted that the site of the industry was visited by the officers of this office on 06.06.202, it was observed that:
1. The industry was in operation. Both the plots i.e. C-15 and C-16 are now well connected from the backside.
2. The industry has installed grinding machinery alongwith storage of raw material in the adjoining plot C-15 to be processed in C-16 and was in operation at the time of visit.
3. The thermopack boiler is still installed in C-15 (not shifted to C-16), which was not in operation due to some technical fault and the same was being rectified during visit.
Now, the industry has submitted fresh lease agreement for plot no. C-15 & 16 for which is valid upto 31.12.2028.
However, from the perusal of the record file, it is observed that M/s Krishna Industries has obtained consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for processing of plastic waste in C-15, Focal Point, Patiala. The consents were issued on 03.10.2023 and valid upto 30.09.2028. Further, during visit, it was observed that on the front part of C-15, a showroom of Tiles Company is operating its outlet and at the backside the grinding machine and raw material is stored.
The industry has not submitted any document in the Board till date w.r.t change in nature of business certificate from the Competent Authority and is carrying out industrial operation in C-15 (without obtaining NOC / Consent of the Board).
In view of above, show cause notice may be issued to the industry for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
