Sir, it is submitted that the industry was issued clarification to submit the amended site plan without having any expansion in the land area as well as undertaking stating that no increase in the existing land area will be done for increasing the production capacity of the rice sheller within 2 days.
In reply to the clarification the industry has submitted copy of site plan and an undertaking that they want to expand capacity of the rice sheller from 2 Ton to 10 Ton in the existing rice sheller unit. Further, they undertake that they have not added any land in the existing premises and will obtain prior permission in case we make any addition in the land area. (Copy Attached)
As such as per the submission of the industry, Consent to Establish (Expansion) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the rice sheller for expansion in the existing rice sheller by adding machinery only to manufacture Raw Rice / Sorted Rice @ 10 TPH with dryer, for a period of one year, with suitable condition along with special condition that the rice sheller shall not make any expansion in the land area of the existing rice sheller without prior permission of the Board. |
