It is submitted that during process of previous application no. 26063647 for consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, consent certificate was generated as per details mentioned in agenda note prepared by Regional Office.
In the agenda note the following machinery is verified by visiting officer during visit in the unit:-
1. 1 no. Gas Fired Rotary Tempring Furnace of capacity 3500 TPH (LPG@120 Kgs/Day) 2. 02 no. D.G. sets 125 KVA (each) (HSD@ 240 Liter/Day)
No other source was verified by RO at site and certificate is generated accordingly (copy of agenda note attached). The contents of agenda note are taken as per actual verification by Regional Office. Now, RO recommended to amend the generated certificate as per following machinery:-
1. 1 no. Gas-Fired Rotary Tempering Furnace, 1 no Electric Heating coloring Furnace, Electric fired 1 no Annealing Furnace, 1 no Electric fired Rotary Furnace, 02 no. D.G. set of capacity 125 KVA each & Caustic-n-Phosphating Barrels.
2. Type of Air Pollution Control Devices to be installed -Electric & LPG fired rotary furnaces with adequate common stack, Wet Scrubber as APCD with Electric Heating Coloring Furnace & D.G. sets equipped with canopy.
From above, it seems that RO has not visited the industry to verified the above machinery and not attached fresh agenda with this application.
If approved, RO may be requested to send the agenda note after verification of above said machinery and explain why RO has not verified the machinery mentioned in the previous agenda note.
