It is submitted that:-
1. The industry has not obtained the NOC for expansion of the Board for installation of phosphating and Heat Treatment Section.
2. In this regards, it is submitted that previously industry obtained the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 for consumption of domestic effluent @ 10 KLD, Process @ 9 KLD and other uses 0.2 KLD which was valid upto 31.03.2023.
* Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate (after expansion) under the Water Act, 1974 for consumption of domestic effluent @ 30 KLD, Process @ 15 KLD. As informed by the representative of the industry the evaporation rate of MEE boiler is @ 0.5 KL/hour.
* As per water balance statement of ETP based on ZLD seems not to be adequate, as the quantity of fresh water consumption in process areas as well as effluent reached at inlet of ETP, effluent treated, feed to MEE and sent for re-cycle/re-use considering the evaporation losses are not synchronized with each other.
