It is intimated that the industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-I, Ludhiana on 25.07.2024, wherein, it was decided as under: 1. The industry shall get its trade effluent lifted to CETP operator regularly and maintain the record of water consumption and lifting. 2. The Environmental Engineer, Regional Office shall verify submissions made by the industry and submit recommendations, accordingly.
Now, the industry has submitted compliance of hearing decisions and RO verified the same as under: 1. The industry is maintaining record w.r.t. fresh water consumption for the wet process & effluent lifted to M/s JBR Tech. Pvt Ltd. The record is attached herewith. As per the record the quantity of water consumed for wet process is in consonance with the quantity of effluent lifted to JBR Tech. Pvt. Ltd.
RO recommended that consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be considered for grant upto 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
In view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions, please. (Category - Red, Small) (Competency -SEE)
