Earlier, the project proponent has applied for consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same was returned many times due to reasons mentioned therein.
Now, the project proponet has again applied for consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 6700/- vide UTR No. 304944576 dated 14.07.2024 as NOC fee. The fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate for one year. The project proponent has submitted feasibility report, project report, site plan, NOC from DTP, Hoshiarpur.The project proponent has failed to submitted the site clearance u/s 41 of Factories Act, 1948. As per application form, the industry is engaged in the manufacturing of Strearic Acid @ 100 MTD and Glycerin @ 10 MTD From vegetables Oil/Ectract pure tallow/other kinds of edible oil @ 100 MTD, phosphoric Acid @ 2 MTD, Caustic Soda @ 4 and Ciitric Acid @ 2 MTD.
As per decided by the Competent Authority vide note dated 23.07.2024, the application was returned. The industry has submitted DTP report vide 1135 dated 21.10.2013 regarding setting up a Intergrated Meat Plant. The Master Plan of Hoshiarpur is implemented on 2011-2031.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that the case may be sent to ZO, Jalandhar for refusal please.
