• CLU obtained on 07.01.2016 from STP, Ludhiana for 10 K-7.6 Marla land area from khasra no. 101//7 (8-0) 8(8-0) 9(5-2) falling in the revenue estate of Village Kotkapura, Tehsil Kotkapura, District Faridkot for industrial use……...
• To check the compliance, the industry was visited by RO on 19.07.2024 and it was observed that: - 1. The industry was not in operation due to no demand. 01 no. mixing vessel for mixing of sugar and water to make sugar syrup. 2 no. filter presses, 2 no. reaction vessels, 2 no. evaporators, 6 no. holding vessels to hold the mixed material. Wood fired baby boiler installed with adequate stack height. ETP of 20 KLD capacity installed for treatment of effluent generated from the washing of filter press, washing of various vessels and evaporated water from evaporation vessels. Record regarding operation of ETP being maintained. 5. Plantation provided within premises in an area of about 1.5 kanal for discharge of treated trade effluent, which is adequate. 6. Septic tank provided for treatment of domestic effluent generated from washroom section and has made provision to discharge the same onto land for plantation………………….
• The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981…….
• In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30.09.2029, subject to the suitable conditions along-with following special conditions:
1. The industry shall operate its ETP regularly and scientifically and shall maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated………
2. The industry shall ensure no stagnation of the treated effluent into the plantation area and will be bound to increase the same, in case any stagnation is observed in it. at any time……..
3. The industry shall get its effluent sample analysed from the Board’s Lab/approved lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board………
4. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without prior permission of the Board.
