It is intimated that the industry was issued show cause notice for revocation / cancellation of consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer on 18.07.2024, wherein it was decided that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 obtained under auto renewal system be revoked. The proceedings of same has been conveyed to industry and consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 obtained under auto renewal system has been revoked (copy attached).
If approved, consent to operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to industry upto 31/03/2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board, please. (Category - Red, Medium) (Competency -CEE)
