It is submitted that as informed by Regional Office, the industry since beginning has only one winch machine. Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate for 6 KLD capacity……..Now, since the industry has got shares of 4 KLD capacity, the industry has applied for obtaining consent for 4 KLD capacity……………
Since, the industry is having shares of 4 KLD capacity DEMAT, it is recommended that:
1. Varied Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry temporarily for the period of six months with the special condition that it shall not generate effluent more than 4 KLD in any case. Further, EE, RO-3, LDH shall keep a constant vigil and shall ensure that the industry does not discharge more effluent beyond the consented capacity.
2. Directions be issued u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 & 31-A of Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the PSPCL Authorities to restore the electric connection of the industry for the period of six months.
