It is submitted that earlier the industry was issued show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate applied under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide Zonal Office letter no. 5622-23 dated 27.11.2025 due to the reasons that the industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 14.11.2025. During the visit, it was observed that the record of fresh water consumption and effluent lifted was not in order. The industry could not produce the record of lifted effluent. The industry has installed one PVC storage tank of capacity 2000 Ltrs, however, it was not accessible to check the quantity of effluent stored in it. As the tank is placed above the height of 10 Feet. The industry has not provided CCTV cameras facing towards wet process area and water
meter. The industry has not submitted the proof regarding classification of area.
Now, the site of the industry was visited by the officers of this office on 19.12.2025 and during visit it was observed that :-
1. The industry was in operation and engaged in nut and bolt manufacturing process.
2. During the visit the industry is taking fresh water from unmetered supply with flexible pipe (photo attached).
3. In reply of show cause notice the industry has submitted the record which is upto 30.11.2025, however, the industry has not produced the record of fresh water consumption and trade effluent lifted by CETP Operator during the visit.
4. The industry has not provided CCTV cameras facing towards storage tank and water meter, however it has provided the cameras on wet process area.
5. The industry has installed one PVC storage tank of capacity 2000 Ltrs, however, it was not accessible to check the quantity of effluent stored in it. As the tank is placed above the height of 10 Feet.
Further, the industry has not submitted the proof regarding classification of area, the industry has only submitted the slip/applicant copy of Registration for regularization of unauthorized colony / plot / building, which is not authenticated proof of classification of area.
From above, it is clear that the industry is not complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and the industry is continuously violating the provisions of the Board.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate applications applied under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be refused, please.
