It is submitted that the pointwise reply of the clarification raised by the Competent Authority is as under:-
1. The industry has submitted its registration certificate number 03881028545 issued under Punjab VAT Act 2005 as a proof of start of operation, however no process is mentioned in it. It is stated that the unit is registered w.e.f. 01.04.20224. Copy of the same it attached herewith.
2. In this case the directions have been already issued by the Board for disconnection and sealing, which have been already complied with. The further action regarding imposition of EC be taken at level of competent Authority.
3. The wet process of the industry was sealed on 03.10.2025, the same was not operational during visit on 17.11.2025. The CCTV cameras were not installed as per last visit.
4. The industry has provided effluent storage tank @2000 ltr for collection of its trade effluent. Also, the industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Tech. Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana for lifting of its trade effluent @2000 ltr/month which is valid upto 18.02.2028. The industry has not submitted any written commitment from CETP operator for getting the effluent lifted at least once in fortnight and have sufficient storage to overcome the overflows in case of non- lifting of effluent by the operator. However, the industry has also stated it will got lifted its effluent to CETP on regular basis , Moreover it is also the responsibility of CETP operator to Lift the effluent as per agreement made by him with the unit.
