Discussed and in consideration of the report/ recommendations of the Regional Office; if approved, the Consent to Establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, earlier granted to the project proponent vide no. CTE/Fresh/SAS/PBIP/2024/2312666585 dated 25.01.2024 having validity upto 16.10.2025, be further extended for two years, subject to suitable conditions and following additional conditions that 1. The project proponent shall provide occupancy only after obtaining consent to operate from the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 2. The project proponent shall provide STP of capacity 125 KLD alongwith ultra-filtration for utilization of treated wastewater for flushing purposes. 3. The project proponent shall provide occupancy only after making adequate disposal arrangements of treated wastewater or until new STP is provided by Municipal Council Kharar and sewerage system is connected with the project. 4. The project proponent shall provide dual plumbing for utilization of treated wastewater for flushing purposes. 5. The project proponent shall not carry out construction more than 20000 sqm without obtaining prior Environmental Clearance from the Competent Authority. 6. The project proponent shall provide mechanical composter for the treatment of wet biodegradable waste. Competency: Worthy Member Secretary; Project Cost is Rs. 31.73 Crore. |
