Earlier, the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were granted to the subject cited poultry farm for the production of Poultry Farm Birds @ 24500 Number/Year and now has consent to establish (NOC) for expansion for Poultry Farm Birds @ 49000 Number/Year. The industry has deposited NOC fee adequate upto one year.
As per report from RO the Poultry farm is meeting with siting criteria and guidelines of CPCB.
The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 18/12/2025 and it was observed as under:- 1. The poultry farm was in operation. 2. The poultry farm has not started its construction work of its proposed shed. The industry falls in Medium Scale Green Category and Competency to decide the case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office, Amritsar.
May if approved, consent to establish (NOC) for the expansion from pollution angle may be granted to the poultry farm for one year period with suitable conditions along with special conditions that:- 1. The poultry farm shall comply with the environmental guidelines framed by the CPCB vide no. and dated for poultry farm.
