It is intimated that industry is a Small Scale and Orange Category unit. Earlier, industry was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTO/Renewal/LDH2/2025/29932886 dated 27.09.2025 valid upto 27.09.2030 through auto renewal mode & under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2020/13685700 dated 02/11/2020 which was expired on 30/09/2025.
Now, the industry has updated its machinery and the industry has installed baby boiler of capacity @ 500 kg. Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for adding/modernization of new machinery. There is no change in the production capacity of the industry.
The site of industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 05.12.2025 and it was observed as under: -
1. The industry was in operation during visit.
2. The industry is a cattle feed unit.
3. The manufacturing of the industry involves: Raw materialAutomatic Conveyor Small Elevator Grinder Elevator Mixer Machine Two Elevators Storage Bin Dispatch.
4. The industry is discharging its domestic effluent onto land for plantation through septic tank.
5. The industry has installed baby boiler of capacity @ 500 kg.
6. It has submitted the copy of CLU vide no. 2280 STP (L)TW-12A dated 16.06.2011. The site falls in mixed Land Use along the road front (Commercial mix) as per Master Plan, Khanna (2010-31).
7. Now, the fixed assets of the industry is Rs. 342.086 Lacs out of which the cost of plant and machinery is Rs.102.823 lacs as on 31.03.2025.
8. The industry has deposited the Consent Fee Rs. 54573/- vide UTR No. 98898962 dated 22.09.2025 under the Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 30.09.2029.
9. The industry is complying with the conditions of consent granted under Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted for a period of 03 months with special condition that the industry shall submit a DTP certificate mentioning as to whether the installation of baby boiler is allowed in the existing unit in the said industrial zone.
