Sir, the point wise compliance of the NOC Expansion conditions is as under:
Sr. No. Special Conditions Compliance
1 The industry shall comply with the guidelines of Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water. The industry has obtained permission for ground water abstraction @ 600 KL/Month from PWRDA vide no. GW/PWRDA/04/2024/L1/139 dated 29.04.2024, which is valid upto 28.04.2027.
2 The industry shall submit the completion certificate from PSCST, Chandigarh before obtaining varied consent to operate from the Board for APCD to be installed to control primary emissions. The industry has submitted the completion certificate vide no. PSCST/TFD/145 dated 28.10.2025 issued by PSCST, Chandigarh of Air Pollution Control Device commonly installed with their Induction Furnace of capacity 10 T/ heat and LRF of capacity 7 T/ heat. The installed APCD is adequate for control of primary emissions from induction furnace of capacity 10 T/heat provided that the LRF remains non-operational during the Induction Furnace operation.
3 The industry shall submit the feasibility to install APCD to control secondary emissions within one month and shall install the same before commissioning of the unit The industry has not installed the secondary emission system to control the secondary emissions generated from the process. However, it has submitted the PERT chart w.r.t preparation of feasibility report as well as installation of APCD to control the secondary emissions generated from the process, which is proposed to be completed by September 2026.
4 The industry shall operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the stack emission standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/ MoEF&CC as amended from time to time. Complying.
5 The industry shall ensure that no black smoke be emitted from the stack of the industry at any time. Complying.
6 The unit shall not engage in any water polluting process i.e. electroplating/pickling/galvanizing etc. Complying.
7 The industry shall plant trees wherever space is available inside and outside the unit. Complying.
8 The industry shall not undertake expansion without obtaining approval from the Board. Complying.
9 The industry shall obtain consents to operate as required under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before the commissioning of the unit. Applied
10 The industry shall get the building plan approved from the authority concerned and submit the same at the time of submission of consent applications, if need be. The industry has only replaced its existing Induction Furnace's crucible; however, there is no addition or modification in the existing building. As such, there is no requirement to obtain the revised building plan.
11 The industry shall obtain necessary permission from the other Govt. departments, if need be. Noted by the industry for compliance.
12 The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities. Complying.
13 The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. Complying.
14 The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Complying.
15 The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance in the area, due to activities of the industry. Complying.
